Every service at Betacvivid connects back to colour theory, skin tone, and the specific light of Calgary.
Our colour menu covers full tints, root smudges, balayage, foil highlights, colour correction, and creative vivid colour. Each service starts with a consultation where we assess your hair's porosity, your natural level, and your lifestyle — how often do you wash? Do you swim? Are you in Calgary's cold wind daily? Those answers shape the formula. A colour correction that needs two sessions is quoted honestly upfront; we do not compress timelines to fit a shorter appointment. Prices start at $85 for a root touch-up and rise with complexity. All colour services include a bond-protecting treatment and a blowout.

Balayage & highlights
Hand-painted balayage and precision foil highlights designed to move naturally with your hair. We focus on placement that frames your face and catches the rose-warm tones specific to your skin. Starting at $175.
Colour correction
Fixing uneven, faded, or previously over-processed colour is detailed, multi-step work. We quote every correction after a thorough in-person assessment and never promise results in a single session when the hair's integrity says otherwise. Starting at $250.
Skincare
A focused menu of skin treatments: deep-cleanse facials, hydration protocols, and targeted serums matched to your skin type. We don't offer a hundred different treatments — just a carefully curated set we know deliver consistent results in Calgary's dry climate.
Nails
Gel manicures, classic polish, and structured nail builds using shades chosen to complement — not clash with — your hair colour. Appointment slots are shared with hair services so you can coordinate both in one visit.
Betacvivid does not offer same-day colour corrections without a prior consultation. We do not carry out chemical straightening or keratin treatments — our focus is colour, and adding relaxer chemistry would compromise our ability to do colour work safely. We also do not guarantee specific results on previously box-dyed hair without first seeing it in person; the variables are simply too unpredictable to commit to a shade over the phone. What we can promise is an honest assessment, a clear plan, and colour that is right for your hair's actual condition — not an idealised version of it.
I came in with three inches of box-dye buildup and a lot of anxiety. My colourist at Betacvivid laid out exactly what two sessions would accomplish and was upfront that session one wouldn't be Instagram-ready. She was right, and I respected her for it. Session two was everything I wanted.
